Day 28 of 365

After going out for a lovely dinner at one of our favourite couple restaurants Montezuma's in Crows Nest we went for a twilight wander through St Thomas' Rest Park in Cammeray.

This incredible former cemetery is now a gorgeous park. Its really old (1845, which for Australia is old, heck we only became Australia in 1901) and its a really touching idea, that Alexander Berry gave St Thomas' the land for a cemetery when his wife Elizabeth died.

It may sound morbid but I find old cemetery's incredible. They are, to me, such a strong reminder of how fleeting life is but how we can leave little parts of us behind.
